While on a 2-week break from shooting Nitro Circus Season 2, I made a day trip to Twin Falls Idaho and met up with friends for some BASE jumping. The Prienne bridge is the only legal bridge in the U.S. you can BASE jump on a daily basis. I met up with pro BMX rider Mike “Rooftop” Escamilla and pro surfer Brandon Lillard who were on a week long trip shooting footage for Hurley. Neither of them had BASE jumped before…so it was back to “Death Camp”. Its always fun to teach people especially those who have the ability as well as fear and respect for the sport. The boys learned fast and once again Twin Falls was very good to me!

- Shoshone falls is just up the river from the bridge. It is an impressive site.
We were in Twin falls to take our son to CSI (College of Southern Idaho) when we stopped to see the bridge and canyon. AMAZING SITE !! anyway we had no idea about the base jumping (our first time here being from Oregon) wow we saw people rolling up there parachutes and getting ready to jump off the bridge, and I am thinking how cool for us but hurry up because the cops will be here any miniute. LOL. Little did we know that it is legal here. Wow what a treat. We got to see it as we safely stood in awe on the edge of the canyon. Yeah they might be crazy but we got an amazing free show with no problems!! It was Soooooooooooo cool !! Viva Twin Falls Idaho
