We just wrapped up our jam packed North Carolina episodes…stock cars, jet packs, white water rapids, mud bogging, camper crushes, outdoor wind tunnels and much more. We have already shot 5 of 8 episodes so we’re on the home stretch. Nitro Circus Season 2 will air Thursday nights starting the last week of August.
I am back in Tahoe for a 2-week break and I’m looking forward to every moment. Summer is when all the ski movies are edited and it’s exciting to see your hard work from the winter put together in a segment. Check out my “Behind the Line” clip from Teton Gravity Research’s last years film “Under the Influence”.
So we were invited to walk the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards this past Sunday. Travis and Tommy could not make it but Jolene, Andy, Jim and I represented. We all felt odd walking down the red carpet…that’s not anything we’re used too. We pretended as best we could and smiled for all the cameras.
It was fun to be amongst all the “famous” people and rewarding to be recognized by some of them. The feedback for Nitro Circus was great and we were all grinning from ear to ear.
We have less than a week off and then were back out filming episode 3!
